Brainwaves N.I., are a Northern Ireland based support group for brain tumour sufferers, children and adults, their families and carers founded in 1994 by Pamela Watson and Billy Ferguson themselves brain tumour patients who felt that such a group would be of benefit to those who are directly or indirectly affected by this terrible illness.

The charity is run by patients and their families, membership is free and we offer information booklets on low and high grade tumours, radiation, chemotherapy, epilepsy, mengioma, pituitary and 'living with a brain tumour' We hold monthly meetings, social outings and have run a series of workshops on stress coping techniques.

Our most important role is providing information, support and advice to patients and their family. To help them realise they are not alone and that other people are going through the same problems and experiences as themselves.

Our charity receives no statutory grant, it survives entirely on the donations received from the general public.

If you or a member of your family needs help and support please contact Kate Ferguson on 028 93372505.
