DONATIONS:
We would to thank the staff of the Maternity Department, Johnston House, Royal Victoria Hospital for their generous donation of £335.00 which we received. We hope that whoever won the Christmas hamper enjoyed its contents.
We appreciate the staff nominating our group as their chosen charity remembering that we are completely dependent on the generosity of our friends. All such funds go directly to helping patients, families and carers affected directly or indirectly by brain tumours.
To Mrs Doris Griffin our sincere thanks for her donation of £50.
Doris has been a supporter of our group for some time now and we greatly appreciate her loyalty.
Our thanks to Mrs Louise Black who kindly made two separate donations of £346.00 and £21.41 to ‘Brainwaves N.I.’ These sums were raised by balloting a hamper at Christmas and the charity’s collection box respectively.
As Louise probably knows, people such as herself are our only source of income. Without this help we would never be able to give the kind of support to our members (and others) which we have managed to do thus far.
Sylvia Brown has been another great supporter of our group, raising money in a variety of ways and attending our meetings on a regular basis. On this occasion Sylvia has kindly donated the sum of £100.
To Sylvia our thanks for her continuing generosity.
Also a big thank you to Ann Marie Hughes for her £100 donation. |
