Emma & Jenny – £’s for lbs
Emma McGuinness sadly lost her fiancé, Laura, on 12th December 2017 to an undiagnosed brain tumour. In October 2018 Emma and another friend Jenny decided to start a fundraiser for Brainwaves. They started a ‘£ for lb’ weight loss journey on 15 th October. After 4 months of hard work and dedication the results were fantastic and on 15 th February 2019 they had lost a fabulous 4.5 stone between them.
In doing this they raised £1400 for Brainwaves and donated it to our committee member Sylvia Watt.
