Brainwaves NI has generously donated £100,000 to Queen’s University Belfast to support ongoing research into the causes of glioblastoma cancer.
The three-year funded studentship will enable a PhD student to study dysregulated mRNA translation and its link to glioblastoma cancer in the RNA Biology Lab at the Patrick G Johnston Centre for Cancer Research.
The research aims to provide insight into this often-overlooked field of cancer research and ultimately improve the lives of people diagnosed with glioblastoma cancer.
