Will you spare a minute of your time to sign our petition today? We urgently need your help to reach our goal of 100,000 signatures by Tuesday 31st October in the hope of prompting a parliamentary debate.
We are grateful to everyone who has already signed and shared our petition to help us reach more than 35,000 signatures so far. We now need you to join them.
What is the petition calling for?
We are calling on the Government to ring-fence £110 million of current and new funding to kick-start an increase in the national spend in brain tumour research to £35 million a year by 2028.
Why should I sign it?
One in three people knows someone affected by a brain tumour. The disease kills more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
What’s more, 35% of children who die of cancer are killed by a brain tumour – a cruel statistic we are highlighting during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
How will my signature make a difference?
Each and every signature gets us closer to our goal. By adding yours today you can help us achieve our next milestone so we can continue to keep brain tumours high on the political agenda and drive the change that is so desperately needed if we are to find a cure for this devastating disease.
